Thyssenkrupp Elevator - Poor Service
I am posting this in frustration. Our condo has a ten year service contract with Thyssen in Ottawa but even with their regularly scheduled service visits, TSSA recently locked one of our elevators out - Thyssen says for an incorrectly adjusted governor cable.
Our problem is that itโs now three weeks later, there is no communication, no resolution, and no idea when service will be restored. We are left without the courtesy of knowing when the situation might be resolved. One of our three elevators is locked out and when the second is in service for a move, our 250 units must manage with one elevator.
We pay the service to avoid this. Thyssen Head Office should let the Ottawa Service Manager know that this is extremely damaging to their reputations.
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
